      Phuket Designer Tours, we have 4 years experience of birding, mainly in Southern Thailand. We are also knowledgeable about butterflies, insects, snakes, lizards and mammals. In fact, if it moves, we photograph it, identify and publish it on our website. Punjapa Phetsri aka Games, one of our tour leaders has passed a six month course in Chulalongkorn University to gain her Tourist Authority of Thailand guide license. She has traveled throughout Thailand both taking tours and on personal field trips. She is based in Phuket and knows all the local birding areas and birds.

     Games originally comes from Surin province in Northeast Thailand. She moved down south 5 years ago, starting work at an internet cafe to improve her English. After that she started up a tour agency business before gaining her guide license. In her spare time Games has been spending her time in the forest learning about nature and nature photography.

     Ian does not work in Thailand but is a close friend of the company and has vast experience as a birder in Phuket having seen and photographed over 160 species on the island. Ian is always welcome to join us on our tours as he knows all the local birds by sight and most by call. His knowledge of butterflies, snakes and lizards often comes in use too.
