Doi Inthanon National Park more
Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand (2,565 metres above the sea level) covers the areas of 482 square kilometres. The National Park consists of high mountains and is the source of many rivers such as the Mae Ping. The park has beautiful natural scenery such as waterfalls, particularly Mae Ya Waterfall, which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand.
Many kinds of bird can be found in Doi Inthanon that can't be found elsewhere in Thailand. Many others are more easily found here like the Yellow-bellied Fantail, Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush, Dark-backed Sibia and Spectacled Barwing. All in all there are more than 380 species.
